Tips for First-Time Visitors to the Carnival Steam post image

The servers will open soon, and so you don't waste any time, we suggest you learn some of the basic mechanics.

Understanding the Carnival

First, let's understand how this place works.

The Carnival is a four-floor structure. Both the Bunnies and the Hunter start on the ground floor. The Bunnies' objective is to progress upward and open the Grand Door on the 4th floor. Escape through it, and you win.

The Hunter's goal is to prevent the Bunnies from reaching the Grand Door. Catch them, eliminate them, or simply slow them down - it all depends on your tactics. Each Bunny has 3 Life Gears. To eliminate a Bunny, you must catch them and throw them three times, damaging one Life Gear with each throw.

••• Find the Gears

Gears are the key to progressing through the Carnival. They're needed for many of the mechanisms on the map. You can find them scattered throughout the map.

Check the Dead Bunnies for useful items. Your top priority is finding a Wind-Up Key. Also, keep an eye out for defensive items such as Firework Rockets, Marbles, and Smoke to help you escape when the Hunter attacks.

••• Open Gates - Complete Objectives - Create Shortcuts.

Open the gate to reach the objectives or take a shortcut. Smash the “High Striker” to activate the zipline track. Remember: every action you take makes a noise, so be careful.

••• Survive in Carnival Hunt

If you're discovered, use a Firework Rocket, Marbles, or Smoke to create an opening and escape. ...or play dead and hope the hunter doesn't see you.

Tips for the Hunter

••• Guard Your Objectives

Learn where important objectives are located and keep a close watch on them. Understanding the key areas of each map is essential for defending them effectively.

••• Hunt the Bunnies

Your primary objective is to catch the Bunnies while preventing them from progressing.

••• Loot Every Bunny You Catch

Always search captured Bunnies for Wind-Up Keys. Taking their keys prevents them from charging teammates and activating objectives that require keys.

••• Control the Map

Ticketman are scattered throughout the Carnival. Activate them in important locations to strengthen your control over key areas.

••• Use Impostor Bunnies

Place your Impostor Bunnies in strategic locations to catch unsuspecting Bunnies by surprise. Impostor Bunnies act as traps, grabbing and holding a Bunny in place for a few seconds, giving you time to close the distance and secure the catch.

Just a reminder: for the next 3 days, you can get unique cosmetic items that will remain in your account forever. These hats will no longer be available after that.
