Captured captains now take rank difference into account when you try to recruit them. They won’t sign on under an overly weak captain.
Improved the algorithm for finding a character to talk to — characters standing in room corners now interact properly.

You can now search the cabin of a surrendered ship via a button on the ship exchange screen. Loot will be placed in the chest in the hold.

Boarding officers can now be assigned as captains when capturing a ship.
Two-handed firearms can now be equipped on officers without unequipping the previous weapon.
