So in this devlog, I’m bringing you Spirit Herb Roundup (Part 1)!

View on Steam

As everyone knows, the miraculous pills and elixirs used in cultivation are refined from all kinds of spirit herbs and alchemical ingredients. So in today’s devlog, I’ll be guiding all fellow cultivators through the types of spirit herbs you can find in the secret realm!

Mingxin Herb is a common support-type spirit herb. It typically grows in grasslands or valleys rich in spiritual energy. Its core effects are enhancing comprehension and clearing the mind. While it’s not a top-tier immortal herb, it’s still a crucial aid for breaking through bottlenecks and gaining insight into techniques.

Purple Dew Herb is also a common support-type spirit herb. It prefers cool, damp, shaded environments, and is often found in spiritually rich swamp regions. It’s known for its unique dew-condensing properties and its calming, mind-settling effects. It’s especially useful for harmonizing medicinal properties and stabilizing one’s mental state, making it an important assisting material when breaking through bottlenecks.

Qinglan Mint commonly grows in deep forests bathed in moonlight. The entire plant releases a cool minty fragrance, and its leaves glow with a faint bluish-green light—like tiny green lanterns—hence the name.

After harvesting, its leaves can be eaten directly. The fresh aroma helps steady one’s breathing and focus, and consuming it can restore a small amount of Mental State (Mood/Composure).

Xuanji Cloud-Pattern Herb is a rare spirit herb that grows around lakeshores rich in spiritual energy. It’s famous for the naturally formed star-chart-like “Xuanji” patterns on its leaves, along with a misty, cloud-like glow. It serves as a core ingredient in pills that enhance insight and comprehension, and help cultivators draw in the spiritual energy of heaven and earth.

So—do you think these spirit herbs will be helpful on your cultivation journey?
