Good evening everyone,
Let's jump right in and talk about what I did not manage to achieve this week. It was a busy week filled with new tasks, and in order to stay on top of things, I had to prioritize. Unfortunately, this meant I wasn't able to implement new enemies, resources, or cards.
However, the good news is that I have already written all 35 new cards for the Brute, along with their stats. Implementing these cards will be relatively quick, though their stats may need some adjustments.
Despite these setbacks, I did manage to update the UI, adjust some text, and add status ailments. That’s right—some cards will now inflict BLEED or BURN, which deal a certain amount of damage over a set number of battle turns.
Additionally, for those playing on WebGL via itch.io, I’ve added a fullscreen button, making the game even more enjoyable. I understand this might not be as exciting for those using Steam, but it's a nice improvement for our web-based players.
There is still a lot of work to be done to get everything just right, and I am truly grateful to all who have played the game and provided feedback through itch.io or the ongoing Indie Playtest Fest.
