Update 0.12.5.0

For this update we've done various improvements and fixes, as well as introduced a new drivable boat. This new Junker Boat has been added to our Starter Pack DLC as a free update.

addedFor this update we've done various improvements and fixes, as well as introduced a new drivable boat. This new Junker Boat has been added to our Starter Pack DLC as a free update. It's 44ft long (the Pontoon is 25ft for comparison) and is the largest boat introduced so far and can sit 8 people in addition to the driver (as well as plenty of standing room). It has a top speed typically of around 15 mph.

changedOther changes this update features includes a reworked camera system for boats that will allow players to offset the pitch slightly, and only the yaw get reset. This helps to angle the camera above the larger boats.
changedBuggy's such as the Raptor and Enforcer have gained some rear crates/tookboxes as options (these are included free). Also the Scorpion Buggy has received some tweaks to its handling to improve the steering a bit which was previously a little twitchy. In addition some of the camera's used for its customization have been reworked to make it easier to see. Customization

  • Added Barracuda holds option which is just the ropes from Holds 4 (requires owning the kit it comes in).

  • Added Pontoon Riser Bar in a unpainted steel version.

  • Added color presets to Moray Front parts and Mako Back parts to better fit with hull patterns easier.

  • Added Front Horn option for the Barrelback.

  • Added rear toolbox option for Raptor.

  • Added rear crate and rear toolbox + gas can option for Enforcer.

  • Added preset color for Star Pattern.

  • Fixed a color preset on Barracuda having wrong colors.

  • Fixed placement of various editor cameras for the Scorpion.

General

  • Added a camera change for boats that will allow you to move the camera pitch angle up slightly and it will not reset automatically. After passing the threshold of about 15 degrees it will reset the pitch. The yaw will continue to be reset always.

  • Added changes to camera placement for the Pontoon boat when customizating.

  • Added /version chat command which will output the current game client version.

  • Added handling tweaks to the Scorpion Buggy to adjust steering sensitivity.

  • Fixed distance on player names showing when a player in a different region.

  • Fixed Tachometer on the HUD showing incorrect RPM compared to physical gauges on some boats.

  • Fixed title display missing for boat users after switching regions.

  • Fixed an issue where toggling bimni and then switching to none would sometimes still show a bimini if you toggled again.

  • Fixed an issue where bimini state is not reset when entering the customization editor.

  • Fixed an issue where flashlight doesn’t get put away when jumping into water.
