Calyx changes
Greetings Calyx players!
We’re thrilled to say that over 60,000 of you now have the Calyx Demo installed.
It’s now time for an update on what we’re planning next.
Here are some of the things we’re working on…
Events system – changing situations occur; for example, a sandstorm that reduces solar power and weapon range.
Calyx species get even stronger, and lash out when attacked.
Upgrade system – build the Unit Workshop to unlock unit upgrades.
Formation types – select different shapes for groups of units and hit shift to flip them 180 degrees.
Zeus Cannon unit – it’s a big laser tank!
Ore Thumper building – makes an Ore patch regenerate faster, but uses a lot of power.
Flamethrower Turrets – a fiery new variant for your defences.
New Challenge maps.
More QOL improvements inc:
Show attack ranges of all objects
Disable chromatic aberration
Change autosave interval
Adjust volume of voices separately
Plus lots more smaller tweaks, balancing and polish items.
