Calyx changes
Greetings Calyx players!
We’re excited to announce that version 2 of the Calyx Demo is now live!
There are lots of new things to try out, including:
Challenge Mode with 5 new maps.
New Calyx plants with new mechanics - watch out for the crawlers!
Existing Calyx species have been upgraded.
Calyx now level up - they get stronger the longer they're alive.
New player units.
Harvester based mining system.
New resource - Isotopes!
Boost Modules in the world - connect these to power for a bonus.
"Drawable" walls and pylons.
Re-bindable keys, adjustable UI scaling, and lots more QOL features.
Original music from our long time collaborator Gavin Harrison.
Now localised into Simplified Chinese, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese (Brazil), Russian and Spanish (Spain).
The tutorial has been updated with the major new systems, so that's a good place to start if you're new to Calyx or a seasoned pro.
