La Beste, the Scarred Sharpshooter

No one knew her real name. “La Beste” was the nickname she had been given because of the scars that devoured half her face. Broken face, foul tongue, legendary sling, and fierce fists: she had once fought for the Bloody Princess, and now for her daughter Vera. Always on the front line, a veteran.

La Beste had survived the civil war, humiliation, fire, oblivion. Loyal to Vera for ten years, she obeyed like a soldier. But year after year, doubt had grown within her. Fight the King of Light, yes, but if the price was to lose her own soul as well?

When everything collapsed, La Beste was still there. Sling in hand, insults on her lips, crooked smile. She saved, she covered, she laughed in the face of death. And in the shadow of a glance, of a tender gesture, the one they called “La Beste” may have been the most human of them all.

The Scarred Sharpshooter

La Beste begins as an elite sharpshooter, striking from great distances with deadly precision using her sling. As you progress through the game, you can shape her archetype evolution toward one of two paths.

Will she become a born marksman, dedicating her skills to eliminating priority targets from afar? Specializing in long-range single-target attacks, she can swiftly dispatch dangerous enemies from extreme distances, at the cost of her defense.

Or will she embrace the role of a relentless barrage specialist, turning every shot into an opportunity to strike multiple foes? Focusing on ricochets and area-of-effect attacks, she can continuously rain projectiles across the battlefield, damaging one or several enemies at once.
