Calame changes
Scholarly, rigid, but deeply just, Edbert had always believed in the power of words and laws. As a former jurist of the Baron of Kenmare, he was convinced that rules and decrees could protect his own.
Edbert bravely set out to deliver justice with Darran’s column, becoming its adviser, scribe, and mediator. Without a weapon, but never without words, he tried to make reason heard, even in the heart of chaos.
Edbert was neither a warrior nor a strategist. But at the hour when the old world might collapse, he was already thinking of rebuilding a new one upon its ruins. A world where justice and law would finally triumph over brutal force. And for that world, Edbert was ready to give his blood and his life.
The Jurist of Kenmare
Edbert begins as a learned scholar of law and letters, wielding the power of words through a renowned legal treatise. As you progress through the game, you can shape his archetype evolution toward one of two paths.
Will he become a master inspirer, dedicating his knowledge to empowering allies? Specializing in powerful buffs, he can strengthen multiple companions at once or greatly enhance a single ally for decisive moments.
Or will he embrace the role of a master tactician, turning his intellect against the enemy? Focusing on debilitating debuffs, he can weaken entire groups of foes or severely cripple a single target, leaving them vulnerable to your army's attacks.
