This week focuses on polish and readability: French is now active on the internal build, Research pacing is smoother, and the End-of-Day (EoD) flow is faster and clearer. Want to help test? Opt into the internal branch (password visionariesBH) under Steam > Properties > Betas.

Highlights

  • Enabled French on the internal branch so French-speaking players can try the game now.

  • Sped up the EoD report and removed the brief “negative net profit” flash to reduce confusion.

  • Added F11 as a shortcut to open the in-game bug report, so it’s easier to send logs and saves.

  • Rebalanced Specialist Research Points to ease early unlocks (details below).

New features & improvements

  • Included the active language in user reports, improving issue tracing.

  • Validated Buy Stand actions for cash on click to prevent accidental purchases without funds.

  • Chained consecutive goal completions so popups appear one after another (no overlaps).

  • Auto-complete Perfect Recipe goals when the recipe is already discovered; re-evaluate the current goal after reload.

  • Displayed RP cost breakdown in Research tooltips; hide extra cost when it’s 0.

  • Scaled popups correctly on 4K; fix Research preview inspector sizes across resolutions.

  • Refreshed EoD popup states even when skipped; fixed colour themes.

  • Swapped certain music cues per event to reduce repetition.

  • Updated wording: “sachets” to packets, and softened harsh terms with ****.

Balance

  • Softened Specialist RP requirements:

    • Customer: 60 to 30 burgers per point.

    • Marketing: 42 to 15 feedback per point.

    • Team & Service: 15 to 10 customers served per point.

  • Reduced the goal to sell drinks to Parents (Street Corner) target to 65.

  • Reduced Money Tracker upgrade cost from 70 → 50.

  • Updated salary market-rate requirement for 0% salary markup checks.

Fixes

  • Spawned AI correctly when it is bought out on the same day it appears.

  • Fixed SFX volume for capacity/focused-customer filter voiceovers.

  • Reviewed buy-out goal logic to handle criteria met before/after activation and on reload.

  • Prevented duplicate employees when upgrading vehicles; added a safe fallback.

  • Cleaned up core managers on exit to avoid rare crashes.

  • Ensured EoD popup always shows (even if skipped); handle initial/final states outside sequences.

  • Override saved research costs on load for consistency.

  • Updated the balance sheet when repaying short-term debt.

  • Fixed the AI bankruptcy effect, which was incorrectly triggering for the player.

  • Clarified goal requirements with in-game tips; reset certain goal progress at day start to avoid stale “No Long Wait” checks.

  • Track and display Toy Giveaway goal correctly; clean the Goals tab to avoid missing references.

  • Corrected business banking tooltip; fixed Training Level 4 goal text.
