  • Tune salaries for clarity: default markup set to 0%, market rate equals the real average, and the floor is now 20% below market. Should we make it 100% below?

  • Stop accidental actions: block multi-stand purchases from spam clicks and restrict double-click-to-load to the loading screen.

  • Fix event timing and duplication so countdowns do not go negative and news panels behave.

  • Achievements: update Steady Eddie to track a 5% or higher worker salary markup so progress reflects real pay decisions.

New features & improvements

  • Worker Salary: validate slider minimum and maximum values so rounding near the minimum does not jump your setting.

  • Ensure the Research tab title always displays so navigation stays consistent.

  • Double click to load works on the loading screen only to avoid accidental triggers elsewhere.

  • On load, publish post-news activation events for cash events so information panels refresh correctly.

Balance

  • Set default worker salary markup to 0%. In case you forget to the set it, you are not penalized.

  • Make the market benchmark 100% of average salary (was 105%) so “market rate” equals the true average. They are now happy with market rate salary.

  • Cap minimum salary at 20% below market (was 25%) to reduce extreme under-pay.

Fixes

  • Events expire on time instead of counting into negative days.

  • Prevent reactivation of saved active cash events when loading a game.

  • Stability: make goal transitions safer behind the scenes to reduce rare edge cases.

In development

  • Research revamp preview: performance drives progress. Earn universal Boosts from your End of Day performance, then trade them for Specialist Points per tree.

  • Example earn rates:

    • Research Boosts: daily performance, about 6 per day on average, MIN 0, MAX 10.

    • Customers: 1 Customer Point per 60 burgers sold.

    • Promotion & Forecast: 1 Market Point per 25 unique feedback items.

    • Team & Queue Control: 1 Ops Point per 35 customers served.

    • Stands & Speed: 10 Stand Points per first-of-class stand, plus passive catch-up over time.

    • Supplies & Storage: 1 Supply Point per 9,000 storage units used and sold.

    • Menu: 1 Recipe Point per 80 perfect recipes served.

    • Money: 1 Finance Point per scaled net profit on positive days.

Known issues

  • Auto-reordering may fail.

  • Soft lock at 12:00 in rare cases.

  • Goal system soft lock in edge cases.

  • Minus interest event can remain permanent.

  • Perfect recipe for Parents goal needs a fix.
