Building Relationships changes
And with that, we're in September! Every turn of the month, I sit down and write one of these updates. And I always have no clue where the time went.
Happy to report that I'm making progress on the game and finalizing the last of the plot. Lots of behind-the-scene work I've been tackling (that I can't talk about). I think we'll still make the 2025 release, but there is a possibility for early 2026 (sorry!)
Anyways, here are some updates!
Meet Dash!
I've gotten lots of questions asking what the coins are for. Well Dash (the Haberdashery) has answers for you! They're an economy expert! They'll revitalize the local industry! And they're here to sell you hats (in exchange for your coins).
Can't wait for you all to meet this dashing building :)
(note that you unfortunately can't date Dash, they're too invested in their 'work')

I added this phone booth to the game and well... I'm really excited for the dialogue related to the phone booth. I think it's truly the worst thing I've ever written (positive).

It's been a year since I moved back home to work on Building Relationships, and I just want to say that I'm incredibly grateful for each and everyone of you! I really needed a break from the corporate environment, and working on this game has been such a healing process for me. Making a game is not easy, finding an audience for the game is not easy, so I'm just really thankful for all the wishlists, nice messages, encouragements, etc.
I hope the game will connect with you, in the same way it's allowed me to re-connect with myself.
