changedAll abilities start on a short cooldown when entering a zone or boss fight
addedBattle log now has filter tabs: All, Combat, Heals, Rewards
addedParty View tab added to the battle HUD showing live ability cooldowns
removedBoss challenge button no longer conflicts with wave transitions
addedHelp button added to every major screen

Thank you to everyone who has tried the demo. A large update is now live based on testing and early feedback. Here is everything that changed:

Combat

  • Abilities now fire independently from auto-attacks, combat feels much more responsive

  • All abilities start on a short cooldown when entering a zone or boss fight

  • Heavy Swing now targets front row only

  • Battle log now has filter tabs: All, Combat, Heals, Rewards

  • Party View tab added to the battle HUD showing live ability cooldowns

  • Boss challenge button no longer conflicts with wave transitions

Skill Trees

  • Capstone tiers now require more investment to unlock

Quality of Life

  • Help button added to every major screen

  • Inventory slot filter tabs added

  • Attack speed now displays as a percentage

  • Skill tree tooltips no longer run off screen

  • Hero cycling hint moved to top bar on all screens

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed recruited heroes having 0 skill points

Balance

  • Default party starts with 4 heroes

  • Level cap set to 10

  • Auto-save now triggers on results screen
