Repeated intro

Greetings, friends! While we lie flat on our backs, pretending to work, we'd like to clarify some points that we are asked about the most. Of course, a reasonable question arises: how do you intend to clarify anything if you're lying there and doing nothing? The answer is... we've sorted that out. And now, onto the topic. Since the announcement, an indefinite amount of time has passed, impossible to calculate, and during this time a number of questions have piled up, about the future project as a whole, and about the trailer in particular. Today, we'll try to answer some of them. And yes, some say that we have a terribly bad sense of humor, so today we'll try a new format of ultra-dry and serious news, just like on your TV, to make everyone wince.

addedPerhaps the most common question that we've received head-on and on the head is about languages and voice acting. Especially, this pertains to the Russian language. At the moment, as for the languages, we can confidently say that we can't afford to do less than what was in the first part of the game. This means that if you heard a certain voiceover or saw a certain subtitle translation in the first game, they will also be present in the second part of the game. We're not yet sure who will lend their voices to our project, and this question is still being worked on, so we'll announce it later, someday, perhaps. We also can't say for certain whether new VO languages that weren't in the first part of the game will be added, but we'd certainly want that. The developers are diligently learning 16 languages and attempting to imitate the sound of a chicken's cluck in all of them, but...
addedMoving on, we'd like to touch upon a question that we've been asked even before our birth. Co-op. We've thought about it a lot, studied the topic, and even tried moving in that direction. However, as financially tempting as it may be to slap co-op onto Breathedge and get X2 sales, using the earned money to buy a pack of chips, it's unlikely to be added on release of the main game. Why? First and foremost, Breathedge is a game about specific characters, with a weak plot, awkward gameplay, and terrible dialogues that hardly fit into a cooperative experience. No matter how hard we try to create a Frankenstein's monster for the sake of monotonous collaborative garbage collection, we have to sacrifice things we don't want to sacrifice – from physics and the story to porting to other platforms. Like before, we're not giving up on the idea of co-op (because we're naive fools), and if the stars align, we might do something with it in one way or another. But it's better not to dwell on it. Above all, Breathedge 2 should be viewed as a single-player project for very drunk people and animals.

From the anno... annen... anonce... annunce... announcement trailer, it became clear that in Breathedge 2, there will be a cool and trendy cell shading (or a dark weird outline, if we delve into the meaning of the word), highlighting our originality and style. So here's the thing: it won't. Well, more precisely, it may end up being in the game, but only as a separate option for enthusiasts. Overall, we'll try to make as many things in the game optional as possible, including the game itself. The more freedom there is in customization, the more fun it is.
