What changed
- Performance
- Fixes
- Gameplay
- Balance
-changed game on windows to OpenGL instead of vulkan for potential stability fixes (should fix the long term afk crashing issue)
-changed mood based growth to make positive moods grow slightly slower and made crash mood more severe
-change intiail stock values to be random instead of evenly divided among the 19 trillion start. (Total is still always 19 trillion at start of game)
-minor save manager fix that made companies not get moods or initial values when creating a game until stock market scene is entered
-fixed stock tax basis tracking issue
-Graph now adjusts to oldest data rather than always comparing percent change to initial value of 19 trillion
Next:
-Reworking education/job system to have specific required education/previous experience to get a job instead of just xp
-Rework company system to clean up some technical debt so that future jobs, companies, industries and stuff like that can more easily be added in the future.
-Rework stock/short system to be closer to bonds so that you can sell specific shorts of each company you own indivually, which also makes keeping track of things like taxes much easier for the player.
-Make family system more logical, the way family members gain capital is very unrealistic and they live for way too long.
-Optimize market graph so that more history can be added (I have made multiple attempts at this but will keep doing this until I get it working)
-Add graphs for each company, and maybe some other variables like population for debt and stuff
-Add proper short tax tracking, it currently taxes all of the income instead of just profit which makes shorts extrememly weak
-Add better tutorial/learning tools, I've gotten playback from multiple play testers that the systems are confusing, although I am building off of real world complicated economic stuff, I should always try to improve the user experience.
