addedWhat is Brave New Wonders?Brave New Wonders is a factory automation strategy game where you build production lines, manage resource networks, and work toward constructing enormous megastructures called Wonders. These are not just milestone rewards - they are fully operational automated facilities that permanently change how your empire works.
changedWhat is Brave New Wonders? What sets this game apart from many other factory games, is instead of conveyor belts, every item in this game is moved by an automaton: a worker unit you deploy and give instructions to. You can choose from a library of preset behaviours, or you can write your own instructions in plain text, in any language you speak. The game reads your instruction and compiles it into structured logic so that the automaton runs reliably every single time.
changedWhat is Brave New Wonders? As your operation grows, so does the complexity you can describe. Automatons can read signals from buildings, coordinate with each other, respond to changing conditions in real time, and execute multi-branch logic that would take significant circuit work in other factory games, all from a single plain-language instruction.

They discover a mineral called Levitanium , an element rich in anti-gravity properties that allow enormous landmasses to now float above the ocean's surface. The society that built itself around this discovery is Victorian-era industrial in technology.

For anyone who is seeing this game for the first time, here is what it is and why we think it is worth your time.

What is Brave New Wonders?

Brave New Wonders is a factory automation strategy game where you build production lines, manage resource networks, and work toward constructing enormous megastructures called Wonders. These are not just milestone rewards - they are fully operational automated facilities that permanently change how your empire works.

Try something like this: set factory to "Show red signal when there are fewer than 5 coals in storage". and set automaton as "If the factory is emitting a red signal, pick up coal from the warehouse and deposit it in the factory".

As your operation grows, so does the complexity you can describe. Automatons can read signals from buildings, coordinate with each other, respond to changing conditions in real time, and execute multi-branch logic that would take significant circuit work in other factory games, all from a single plain-language instruction.

Every instruction you write compiles into a visual state machine, a flow graph you can inspect, edit node by node, and extend at any time. You are never locked into what you first wrote. The logic is always in front of you.

The World

Thousands of years in the future, a new civilization emerges with no memory of humanity’s past failed efforts to sustain life across the vast continents. They discover a mineral called Levitanium, an element rich in anti-gravity properties that allow enormous landmasses to now float above the ocean's surface. The society that built itself around this discovery is Victorian-era industrial in technology.

You play as the Chief Pioneer. You start on your Floating Castle with basic tools, and your job is to explore The Archipelago, a scattered collection of distinct floating islands each with different biomes, resources, and hazards. Build out your production infrastructure. Uncover what happened to the civilization that came before yours. Construct the Wonders that will secure humanity's future.

Out there in the ruins, old-world machines are still running. They have been running for thousands of years, following the last directives their creators left them: protect the facility. They do not know the civilization that built them is gone - it's up to you to deal with them.
