changedWhile the Pointe du Hoc visuals and atmosphere have improved massively, the gameplay still needs refinement before we can confidently put Brass Rain in players’ hands. On this map, the Operations mode, which we believe can make Brass Rain truly unique, needs more work to create the kind of experience that makes players wishlist the game and impatiently wait for release.
changedIn addition, while reducing scope to meet the deadline, we compromised too much on the combined arms aspect of the experience and ended up with something closer to a traditional FPS. We now want to correct that and move back toward the larger vision we originally set for the game.
changedThe core vision has not changed:

Here is an important update about Brass Rain Demo.

We’ve made the difficult decision to delay the Brass Rain demo release, originally planned for June 6, 2026.

Simply put, the game had not yet reached the vision or quality bar we originally set for ourselves. We refused to rush something unfinished just to hit a date.

While the Pointe du Hoc visuals and atmosphere have improved massively, the gameplay still needs refinement before we can confidently put Brass Rain in players’ hands. On this map, the Operations mode, which we believe can make Brass Rain truly unique, needs more work to create the kind of experience that makes players wishlist the game and impatiently wait for release.

As development progressed, it became clear that we needed to refocus development around the core pillars of the game.

The current focus is reducing tech debt, improving quality, and preparing for the next development sprint. Importantly, this is a delay measured in months, not years. Development remains active and the team is fully committed.

The core vision has not changed:

  • Co-op gameplay

  • Combined arms warfare

  • Cinematic large-scale battles

  • Deep immersion

We know many of you were looking forward to June 6th, and we understand the disappointment. But we believe protecting long-term trust matters more than forcing a short-term release.

The encouraging part is that interest in Brass Rain continues to grow steadily, with wishlists and follows increasing every week.

That gives us confidence that taking the extra time now is the right decision for the future of the game. Thank you again for your continued trust and support.
