Personal Note
Hope everyone's had a great holiday season & has a happy 2026! I don't normally get very personal on these, but 2025 was a very rough year for me. From close family and friends suffering serious illnesses to difficult professional situations, the time and attention I've been able to devote to Brass Brigade has been on the lower side for most of 2025. I sincerely appreciate everyone who has supported the game and hope to continue improving it into 2026. I don't know how much longer I will work on this before moving on to other projects, but I'm not done yet :)
Winter Sale
Now is a great time to pick up Brass Brigade if you haven't already. It's a whopping 50% off (~$7.49USD)!
It's also always a bit surprising when a prominent Youtuber picks up the game. After seeing Mac's great WAB video, I got my butt into gear and tried to address some of the bugs displayed in the video (I hate seeing bugs, gotta squash 'em all). But I'm delighted to see that he recommended the game overall. To any newcomers from his video - thanks for supporting Brass Brigade.
Bugfixes
Some bugfixes and adjustments to improve the Brass Brigade experience.
Slight health buffs to German troops to balance them against most Allied teams
Reworked the spawn area of Maginot Line to better distribute attacking team troop paths. New buildings, nav mesh, and capture point. Bots should also not get stuck near the road leading into the first town anymore. Also cleared some blockades near "The Line" objective so vehicles have a clear path through the road.
Adjusted AI truck/jeep behavior to reduce frequency of them getting stuck, specifically on inclined terrain.
Dead tanks should no longer kill players who touch the destroyed vehicle body.
Adjusted criteria for killing an enemy when running over them with a vehicle. Should reduce the frequency by which rotating tanks kills characters who get bumped.
Scaled tanks back down to their original sizing to improve navigation in tight areas of maps.
Possible bugfix for bots getting stuck not moving and/or dead sliding corpses. Believe this is related to a failed safety check when attempting to set an AI agent's destination but they happen to not be on a nav mesh.
Adjusted Town Pillbox capture point on Anzio maps so it does not overlap other nearby objective capture zone
Hope to get more bug fixes out soon - time is tight these days, but I'm trying my best to get BB into it's best long-term state.
