Bounty Fusion changes
Hi everyone, new month, time for the usual monthly review! Last month's goals were:
[NOT STARTED] Start (and hopefully end) a teaser trailer
[DONE] Wrap up the visual part of the game fusion system
[NOT STARTED] Start the enemy AI system
[DONE] Launch the game website and social accounts
The teaser trailer will have to wait a little longer, so it will be a "forever goal" until we actually wrap it up.
The rest went as expected. The fusion system is finally 100% complete (at least the initial version). This means that, besides the mechanics, the images, names, etc, all fuse to create a unique card. Visually, everything is also in working order, so we can mark that as done and iterate on its design as needed!
The enemy AI system is still missing. Since we have a basic attack/defense dumb AI for testing at the moment, we still don't feel the need to actually delve into it, but this might change very soon.
Our final goal was to launch the Steam page, website, and all its social accounts (it's just X), which we finally did, so a big win for us to start having some public-facing content besides our monthly goal posts.
Finally, we wrapped another system up last month, the Lost Tech system, which works as buffs/debuffs and special mechanics that can be unlocked through gameplay (think of STS relics).
Now, December will be a tough month with all the holidays still, our goals for Bounty Fusion are:
Create a teaser trailer
Start the enemy AI system
Design the initial mecha deck (30 cards)
Design the first lost techs (about 10)
This month, we will try to have the first mecha ready for battle, with all its cards and personalized Lost Techs. This should force us to actually implement the AI system too, since we will have to test and iterate a lot on the card and lost techs overall balance.
Now time to get back to work. A big thanks for all the support!
