Botlings changes
The countdown has officially begun. Early Access is approaching, but to make sure itās a truly GREAT, highly playable, and polished experience right from day one, I need your help. Your raw, honest, unfiltered help.
The Botlings Playtest is NOW LIVE!
All you have to do is head over to the main Botlings Steam Page and click the"Request Playtest". Boom, you're in.
What I need you to hunt down on the first iteration:
I'm looking to test the first 30-60 minutes of gameplay (don't worry, you can play the full game for hours if you wish!). This playtest is for automation players. There are no tutorials, no handholding, just botlings walking and making stuff. Specifically, keep your eyes open for:
Core Mechanics: Does the directional logic feel smooth? Are the catapults launching bots exactly where you want them?
Pacing: Do you have to wait for stuff to get ready? Are you bored while waiting, do you constantly have things to fiddle with?
Visuals & Polish: How does the UI feel? Is everything intuitive? (Yes, I'm looking at you Tech Menu!)
Glitches & Bugs: Yes, the dreaded bugs.
Let me be completely honest with you: I hate bugs even more than you do.
Why?
Because when you find them, I am the solo developer who has to stay up until 3 AM rewriting code to fix them! š
So please, break my game. Break it in the most creative ways possible so I can patch it up before the big launch.
Thank you so much for stepping up to help me shape the future of Botlings. Go click that button, enjoy the chaos, and let me know what you find!
Remember to press smash that F12 button or click the little yellow lightbulb and leave all the feedback you can. I'm counting on you!
Now... BACK TO WORK!
