Hello there! I was working on an update for about a month and half. Here's what I worked on. Keep in mind that these updates are subject to change and are not final.

addedTown NPCSAside from the shop owners, the town also now has townsfolk. These npcs may have special dialogue when you interact with them. They may give you gold, items, information, lore and etc. Some may also have unique abilities!
changedAttackable NPCSAll npcs are now attackable. Whenever you attack an npc, your affinity with them decreases which results to bad consequences.
changedStealingIf you're feeling lucky, you can also try to steal from these npcs. Steal success chance is affected by the Vision stat of the one trying to steal.
addedOutlaw GuardsOutlaw Guards added. Whenever you kill an npc or caught stealing, the guards in the area are alerted and they become your enemy.
addedAffinity QuestsI also added affinity quests. These are quests that give affinity for a certain character as part of the reward. They are only found through shop keepers for now but that's going to change in the future.

Out-of-Town NPCS

There are also special npcs that you encounter as you progress through the world. These npcs are random. They may give quests, they may sell items, depending on your luck they may be a fairy, a witch or a scammer in disguise and etc. An example of a special npc that challenges you to a riddle match.

Attackable NPCS

All npcs are now attackable. Whenever you attack an npc, your affinity with them decreases which results to bad consequences.

If you're feeling lucky, you can also try to steal from these npcs. Steal success chance is affected by the Vision stat of the one trying to steal.
