Patch Notes of July 28

Dear Commanders:

We plan to begin server maintenance at 16:30 on July 28 (UTC+8). The maintenance is expected to last 120–240 minutes.

This is a mandatory update. After maintenance is complete, please update the game to the latest version on Steam before launching it.

During maintenance, players will be disconnected and unable to log in. To avoid any potential data loss, please exit and close the game before maintenance begins.

The following content will be included in this update.

New Blackguard

Limited-Time SP Selection Banner

Duration: After the update – August 11, 2026

Banner Rules:

1. Commanders may select one of the following SP Blackguards to summon:

Coltish Artillerist, Legendary Dragon, Foxy Archduchess, Coffin Morrigan, Thorny Bramble, Centaur Minerva, Schneemond Princess, Shadowy Mirage, Nirvana Ignis, Judgement Hammer, Lady Swan Lake, Shamneko in Night, Blooming Ink Deer, Marine Rime, Flabellum Seraph, Falling Samele, Tundra Thunder, Everlasting Sol, Flicker Pierce, Jadeform Immortal, Phantasmal Dream, Double Shot Pursuit, Wightbone Dragon, Twinkle Palette, Skyborne Machina, Golden Hatch, Blazing Shear, Celestial Luan, Silverblade Oath, Green Whisper, or Crimson Warshadow.

1. Before the selected SP Blackguard is summoned, Commanders may freely change their selection to another available SP Blackguard while retaining the current pity count.

2. Once the selected SP Blackguard has been summoned, the selection can no longer be changed.

Oath of Twin Stars

Duration: After the update – August 13, 2026

Banner Rules:

Spend Covenant Crystals to summon during the event. Before summoning, Commanders must select 2 Wish Blackguards. Any SP Blackguard obtained will be one of the two selected characters.

Up to 4 SP Blackguards can be obtained during the event. The acquisition chance of each character is calculated independently. If a Wish Blackguard has already reached maximum Sanguine rank, it will automatically be converted into 30 Blacktide Coins.

Once any SP Blackguard has been obtained, the selected Wish Blackguards can no longer be changed.

Summon counts accumulate independently in the Covenant Vault, allowing Commanders to obtain Starwish Stones.

The banner will close when the event ends. Please complete your Wishes before the deadline.

New Class Change Paths for Guardian Blackguards

Guardian Blackguards can now change class into Guardian or Shieldbearer.

After Class Change, the exclusive **Class Front** for Guardian Blackguards will be unlocked.

Story Event — Dreams of the Old Abyss

Duration: After the update – August 27, 2026

Participate in the event and challenge the final stage to obtain different amounts of the event currency, Azure Dragon Ring, based on the selected difficulty.

Azure Dragon Rings can be exchanged in the Event Shop for generous rewards. Visit the Dreams of the Old Abyss Shop to exchange for Sasaya’s Crimson Serenade outfit set and accessories, Contract Certificate, Equipment Modification Stones, and other rewards.

Limited-Time Event — Fortune Roll

Duration: After the update – August 27, 2026

Requirement: Yggdrasil reaches Lv. 400.

Event Overview:

Complete daily missions to obtain Fortune Dice. Use Fortune Dice in Fortune Roll to move forward a random number of spaces and obtain the corresponding Fortune Radishes and Fortune Caches.

Fortune Radish can be exchanged in the Event Shop for rewards including a Light & Dark Blackguard Selection Roster, Sanguine Stones, Extract Stones, various currencies, Modification Stones, and more.

Sasaya’s bunny outfit Luna Bunny, matching waist accessory Morning Hop, and matching headwear Banquet Whisper are also available for exchange!

The Fortune Accelerator Pack is now available in the Limited-Time Pack Shop. Get more Fortune Dice now!

New Milestone Achievements — Seeking Light in the Mist

New Seeking Light in the Mist missions have been added. Complete them to obtain generous rewards, including Covenant Crystals, Smoked Meatloaf, and various Modification Stones!

Unlock Requirement: Clear Main Story Exploration stages.

Achievement Objectives: Fight in Oblivion, collect Treasures and Runes, perform Modifications, and more.

New Shadow Spirit Trial — Dragon Tower!

The Stargate Era is a land of shifting tides and gathering storms. Deep within the courtyard, a mysterious Shadow Spirit Trial Tower stands tall — Complete its challenges to obtain the Tower Lord’s exclusive Etching Badge !

This season’s Tower Lord — The BUG Maker — awaits your challenge!

Gameplay Features

Shadow Spirit Trial Tower:

• Each tower contains 7 floors. Blackguards who clear a floor will be temporarily “Imprisoned” to stabilize the path leading to the next floor.

• Clear Floor 7 to earn the right to challenge the Tower Lord.

• Attack the Tower Lord with everything you have! The damage you deal will determine your leaderboard ranking.

Shadow Spirit Seals:

• Before beginning a challenge, Commanders can select additional Seals to increase the stage difficulty.

• Selecting more Seals increases the corresponding difficulty level. Successfully clearing higher difficulties will result in a higher leaderboard ranking.

Season Achievement Missions:

Complete missions issued by the Tower Lord to obtain rare Avatars, Modification Stones, summoning items, and other rewards.

Event Rules

• Requirement: Yggdrasil reaches Lv. 1500.

• Entrance: Events — Shadow Spirit Challenge. Select the button on the event banner to enter.

Duration

July 30–August 29, 2026

The season is divided into two phases:

• AddedNormal PhaseBasic difficulties are available, allowing Commanders to familiarize themselves with the gameplay. Please note that Etched Badge Coating Missions can only be completed during this phase.

• Crisis Phase: More challenging difficulties will unlock on Day 14 of the season. Higher difficulty means a higher potential ranking!

Season Leaderboard

After the season ends, exclusive **Tyrant Ancient Coins** will be distributed according to the final leaderboard rankings.

Item Usage: This currency can be exchanged for rare items in the upcoming Shadow Spirit Shop.

Note: The Shadow Spirit Shop and its exchange items will be added in a future update. Stay tuned!

New Black Market Shop — Companion Merchant

Dismissing Companions now grants Beast Spirit Tear or Beasttear Crystal, which can be exchanged for rewards in the Companion Shop.

Items in the Companion Shop refresh weekly.

The following items have been added:

• Moltfeather Spirit Crystal: Can be used on a Companion carrying 10 skills. The Companion is guaranteed to learn Moltfeather, increasing its number of carried skills to 11

Beasttear Crystal Shop

The following items have been added:

• Bone-Tempering Spirit Crystal: Can be used on a Companion carrying 11 skills. The Companion is guaranteed to learn Bone Tempering, increasing its number of carried skills to 12.

• Immortal Companion Codex: Vigilant Bond: Can be learned by a Companion carrying 11 skills.

• Mythic Companion Codex: Circle of Renewal: Can be learned by a Companion carrying 12 skills.

Companion-Related Optimizations

Companions can now be deployed in Void Chasm!

Companion Codex now have Skill Tiers:

• Higher-tier Companion Skills already learned will not be replaced when the Companion learns a lower-tier Codex.

Skill Tiers correspond to skill quality colors:

• Tier I: Blue, Purple, and Orange

• Tier II: Red (Immortal)

• Tier III: Silver (Mythic)

New Void Chasm — Turbulent Rift

Added a new one-time challenge mode, Turbulent Rift, unlocked after reaching 10% exploration progress in Oblivion Places II.

• Turbulent Rift contains 8 stages, each with 10 floors. All stages can be freely selected, with their challenge progress recorded independently.

• Turbulent Rift challenges do not consume AP. This mode has no Season Points, leaderboard, Season Rewards, or Void Vault.

• Each floor provides a one-time First-Clear Reward. Complete challenges to obtain Covenant Crystals, Eternal Grimoire Leaf , Catalyst Choice Chest, AP items, a Legendary Grimoire Choice Chest, and other rewards.

Starborne Era — Whispering Maze

New Replayable Maze: Beastshadow Labyrinth

• Location: Eastern region, at the foot of the mountains north of Ivory Town

• Special Drop: Companion — Golden-Furred Civet

New Rare Maze Drops:

• Floor 5 of Beastshadow Labyrinth has a chance to drop Immortal Companion Codex: Vigilant Bond.

• Floor 5 of Refraction Maze has a chance to drop Moltfeather Spirit Crystal.

New Appearance Collection System — Etched Badges

• Added a new appearance collectible: Etched Badges. They can be obtained from events, regular gameplay leaderboards, missions, achievements, the Eternal Codex, and other sources.

• Etched Badges are available in three sizes: Large, Medium, and Small. Badges of different sizes can be freely arranged for display.

• Some Etched Badges unlock corresponding Coating Missions after being obtained. Complete the specified objectives to add special Coating effects to the Badge.

• Added the Etched Badge Editor. Commanders can select acquired Etched Badges, then drag and arrange them on the display board.

Coming Soon:

• A **Profile** entrance will be added to the Friends and Leaderboard interfaces, allowing Commanders to view other players’ profiles and Etched Badge Display Walls.

Leaderboard System Optimization

The Leaderboard entrance on the main interface has been redesigned. It will now display the character model and Avatar information of the player who ranked first in the previous season of Shadow Spirit Challenge.

A new Shadow Spirit Challenge leaderboard entrance has been added to the Leaderboard system. The new Shadow Spirit Hall of Fame will also showcase the champions of previous seasons.

The Fate Starwheel will remain permanently available. After the version update is complete, all Commanders will receive Rewind Ticket ×1 via mail. Please remember to claim it.

Jackpot Selection Optimization:

When obtaining a jackpot, Commanders will receive a chest that can be opened from the Backpack to select a reward.

Open the chest to select one of the following rewards:

Astral Engraved Rule ×60, Expedition Star Coins ×500,000, Otherrealm Coins ×500,000, or Gold (Bound) ×500,000.

Limited-Time Pass

Duration: August 1, 2026 – October 1, 2026

During the event, Commanders can earn Pass Points by consuming FP or AP and level up the Pass to claim rewards.

Purchase the Advanced Pass to unlock additional rewards, including Delyanne’s outfit set Porpoise Afloat and its matching headwear, a Sanguine Optional Box, a large amount of Sanguine Stones, and more.

Mall and Packs

The following packs have been added to the Pack Shop:

Anniversary Holy Blood Value Pack, Anniversary Covenant Value Pack, Anniversary Celebration Training Pack, Limited-Time Campaign Supplies I, and Limited-Time Campaign Supplies II.

The following packs will be removed when they expire:

• Sanguine Stones spent on the Fate Starwheel will also count toward Sanguine Crystal Codex Points.

During the event, consuming FP has a chance to grant the event currency, Sakura Emblem. Sakura Emblems can be exchanged for rewards in the Event Shop.

Event Rule

During the event period, every 1 FP commander consume will gain 1 event point, accumulate point to certain amount will gain stage reward, there will be 7 stage, up to 6 rounds.

Single-server and Cross-server leaderboard will be set on this event, rewards will be distributed based on the total event points accumulated during the event.

BUG Fixes and Other Optimizations

• Fixed an issue where Class Front effects such as Sigil Echo, Spirit Resonance, Blood Bond Restriction, and Shadow Familiar could affect units that did not possess the corresponding Front.

• Optimized performance during battles.

Future Update Plan

• A new recurring event, Covenant of Starlight, will be added in the mid-month update. Commanders can accumulate Event Points by performing summons with Covenant Crystals and spending Starwish Stones.

• More achievement content for Journey and Void Chasm will be added over time, alongside continued optimizations to the Achievement system.

• Higher-difficulty stages will be added, offering more equipment and skill effects as rewards.
