Hello everyone, Thank you to all who have purchased Boink, it truly means a lot to me. I come bearing the first patch to the game. This patch comes with some major changes to gameplay in order to capture a better flow.

addedThis patch comes with some major changes to gameplay in order to capture a better flow. One of the last features I added to Boink before pushing to Steam was the ability to rebirth more than once at a time. Unfortunately, that meant the mechanic did not have enough time to be gameplay tested, and it led to players being able to purchase multiple if not all rebirth upgrades at once. I wanted rebirths to feel like milestones for the player to hit, so with this patch it will hopefully better balance everything with tweaks to every rebirth upgrade price.
addedAnother change to gameplay is that bouncers now have a starting level cap of 50. This can be increased with a new rebirth upgrade called “Increase Max Bouncer Level”. This gives the player lots of milestones to hit now with trying to max out all the bouncers, and keeps the math from growing out of control very quickly.
