changedWhat is a "Mid Chapter" ?So Now here are just some of the notable upcoming changes to the game. Keep In mind some things will be slightly changed and or altered.
addedChapter 1 Visual UpdateChapter 1 now has new and improved props and assets. Here are some Images of the improvements.
changedMulti-Objective Counter & Valve ImprovementsFor any Objective that requires to do multiple things, they will now have a counter to show the total progress of the Objective. [Example : Open Valves (0/7) ].
changedMulti-Objective Counter & Valve ImprovementsCurrently its hard to see the Valves and whether or not they have been already opened. To address this. the valves will now have a light to indicate whether or not the Valve is opened, closed or unusable.
changedLook-BackWhen the player follows the Puppets path, the Puppet will now turn around based on the distance to the player and the Puppets back Line Of Site. Walking and Crouching will lower the range the Puppet will turn back. This change makes the follow Puppet strategy less strong.
changedCharge-SpottingIn addition to the Look-Back the Puppets detention system has been reworked. When spotting the player the Puppet will need to charge up its detection to chase the player. This gives players a small window of time to break the Puppets Line Of Site to not get chased. This will only apply to Puppet stealth sections.

What is a "Mid Chapter" ?

A Mid Chapter Update is a large update to already existing chapters / content. Mid Chapters aim to improve the core experience before and after a Chapters Release. Meaning Chapter 2 will be released as a separate Update from this Update.

So Now here are just some of the notable upcoming changes to the game. Keep In mind some things will be slightly changed and or altered.

Chapter 1 Visual Update

Chapter 1 now has new and improved props and assets. Here are some Images of the improvements.

Multi-Objective Counter & Valve Improvements

For any Objective that requires to do multiple things, they will now have a counter to show the total progress of the Objective. [Example : Open Valves (0/7) ].

Currently its hard to see the Valves and whether or not they have been already opened. To address this. the valves will now have a light to indicate whether or not the Valve is opened, closed or unusable.

Puppet Rework

Look-Back

Extra Changes

The Puppet will now have a 3D audio source and a particle system attached to it. This will allow players to better track the puppets movement and Location.

Skipable Cutscenes

Cut-scenes can now be skipped by holding the interact key for a few seconds.
