TECH DEMO IS HERE
I finally have a sort of a tech demo for the game. Most features don't work yet (only visuals) and there is no content yet. That being said, 90% of the polish is done already and there is all the audio (BGM + SFX).
TESTER ROLE
To give feedback request the @Tester role in Discord to access a private channel related to alpha testing. Since all the architecture code is done now, the game will have a lot more content within the next few weeks, preparing for next month's Steam Next Fest.
KEY DIFFERENCES
In case you are curious, these will be the main differences with Slay the Spire (not available yet):
Mana in battle increases between quests (acts). So in quest 1 => 3, quest 2 => 4 and quest 3 => 5.
The monsters are the cards so the rarity and randomization is tied directly to the monsters. When you kill a monster you acquire it as a card.
No duplicate monsters per battle and per run. You meet each monster only once during the whole run.
You can increase some stats after battle. These last between battles and they can also be reset every time the UI is open.
Pain Trials (Events) always give positive options. However, there is always a recommended option and if you don't choose it you get a penalty (curse).
The same monster has a different effect with another class. So "Blue Dragon" will have a certain effect with the Assassin class and the same "Blue Dragon" will have a different effect with the warrior class.
Skills (relics) can be upgraded too.
3 rooms to choose from after each battle. No node paths.
10 rooms per quest (act) only, so 30 rooms/actions per run.
Side quests during battle. A condition to meet to get a bonus reward.
All the cards are in 3D.
