Bloody Knuckles Street Boxing changes
Bugs/ Performance Updates
Fixed bug causing app to close on startup when using Steamdeck without internet connection.
Fixed mass fluctuation issue that caused players to fly out of ring.
Fixed bug causing random counters.
Fixed bug causing lead foot to get stuck to opponent lead foot.
General Core Updates
New venue with realistic base model boxing ring(fighter containment elements and environment layout still a work in progress).
Improved ring canvas texture in Bonkers Gym.
New rotating camera view in camera settings.
New "Team Battle" game mode (2 vs 2).
New "Simulation Boxing" game mode.
Fight now mode changed to "Street Fight" and located in Main Menu>Game Modes>Arcade along with party games.
Menu/ UI Updates
Camera shake toggle added to camera settings tab.
Counter flash toggle added to game settings tab.
Toggles for stamina and health meters added to HUD settings.
Controller vibrations toggle added to fight style/ player settings.
Defensive arm position slider added to AI settings(sparring only).
Auto-pivot toggle added to AI settings(sparring only)
Head/ Body damage level options added to AI and player settings(sparring only).
Improved aesthetic of zone damage HUD. Intensity of damage flashes are influenced by the power of landed punch.
Core Gameplay Updates
Improved counter punch detection with head movement.
Counter punch damage reactions are more responsive.
Pressure sensitivity added to arm stretch of pawing mechanic(RT/ R2).
Increased feint recovery speed.
Increased duck speed.
Increased crouching movement speed.
Increased punching power in bare knuckle game modes.
No attack damage registered in sparring game mode.
Fighters track enemy with their heads when enemy in field of view.
Body target slightly lowered for improved body shot tracking.
Audio/visual feedback added for touching gloves within the first 10 seconds of each round(ability will be revoked if a punch is thrown prior to touching gloves).
Stamina Updates
Stamina penalty added for push, paw, and parry attempts.
Increased stamina penalty for dash, pivot, and stance switch.
Reduced mobility penalty for low stamina.
Reduced stamina penalty for body shots taken.
Conditioning attribute added(determines stamina drained per action).
Blocking Updates
Blocking/ parry poses adjusted to better represent openings based on arm position.
Blocking idle poses converted to pressure sensitive blend trees(LT/ L2)
Blocking sound effects trigger only when block zones are hit.
When taking damage to any damage zone, punch sound effect plays even if punch was blocked (volume of sound effects influenced by the power of landed punch).
