addedWe would like to update you on the release date of Bloodcrave. As you may know, times aren't easy for adult game developers after the recent controversies. Among other things, it is difficult to get approved for Early Access or even to add new content post-release. We initially planned to release Bloodcrave as an Early Access game, but due to new restrictions, we had to abandon those plans.
changedInstead, we'll release it in 3 parts. Fortunately, the whole game was written with three acts in mind, so we didn't have a problem splitting it in a way that feels natural. Additionally, each game will be massive – Volume 1 will include 20 characters, over 100 CG sets, and dozens of them will be animated, with one playthrough taking ~20 hours. Splitting the game into three parts will also allow us to offer you the game at a more affordable price.
changedSo, when will we release the game? We initially planned to release the game in November. It's when the development of Act 1 will be finished. However, due to the increased scrutiny that adult games face, we anticipate the review process to take longer than usual, which could result in missing the release date. Because of that, we'll announce the release after our build is approved by Steam, and we expect it to be in January or February at the latest.
addedTo make it up to you, we'll be releasing an updated demo later this month. It'll include new scenes, a reworked animation system, and tons of quality-of-life improvements. We hope you'll enjoy it. Follow our page to get notified when it goes live.
