New Idols

  • Olaf's crown

    • The next boss you encounter will take 25% of its max health as damage.

  • Expeditius' sandal

    • Increase your damage at the begining of each encounter.

Visual updates

Blood Rush needed some work on its UIs, mainly on the dialogue side... I'm so glad to show you the new and improved dialogue UI!

  • Redesigned the dialogue HUDs!

    • Unknown NPCs will display a custom sprite instead of Nicolas' one.

The boss health bars also received a new look!

  • Redesigned boss health bars.

    • Textured all health bars too.

And I took this opportunity to rework some other part of the UI.

  • Redesigned how items are displayed.

  • Added a border to the save slot reflecting the save progress.

    • Black : No save exists.

    • Red : A save exists.

    • Iron : You completed the game.

    • Gold : You completed the game with all the rings.

      • The gold frame will appear if you complete the game again after the update.

  • Updated the relic upgrade widget.

    • Rare or important upgrades now display ribbons.

    • Spells are distinguished with an additionnal effect.

  • Added a fade animation when buying an idol.

  • Updated the end game stat hud.

  • Updated the owned items widgets.

    • Updated the torture token model and sprite.

The electricity relic is the first one I worked on a long time ago and the bullet trails were not as I wanted them, I took some time to update their visual to match the rest of the game.

  • Improved the lighting bolt look.

  • Improved all bullet trails.

    • No more laggy trails!

Balance

  • The creditors now steal you some soulshard if he damages you.

  • Reduced some soulshard drops amount.

  • Relics won't drop 2 spells or more at once as often.

  • Idols won't show their effect the first time you select them.

  • Added a new upgrade for the fire columns to double them.

Fixes

  • Fixed some inverted normals and holes.

  • Fixed some typos.

  • Better memory management.

  • Fixed Diogenes second UVs.

  • Fixed the spouses' hostility against the antichrist.

  • Fixed Diogenes voice speed.

  • Updated the physic assets for the Secutor and Prometheus.

  • Fixed the projectile redirection with lightning rods.

  • Cain should no longer be damaged by Abel.
