changedI have updated the unstable branch with the 64 bit version of Blockscape. You should now be able to set View distance = "Very High" without any problems.
addedA 32 bit application is always limited to ~3 GB of memory. By switching to 64 bit we can now have maps and builds as big as your computer can handle.
