Block Block Block changes
Although, as I mentioned on Discord, I haven't been able to be in Dev's chair lately, since I have to handle some little marketing stuff, this was the perfect excuse to drop some lines of code, so today Demo Update (1.0.0-12_5_2026-0) is here with some answers.
Additions and Changes
- Lock ItemsTotally changed the way lock works, now is similar to group items, when pressing the Lock in the top menu it takes you to the screen where you can Lock or Unlock items by clicking over them, instead of drag and drop the Lock constantly over the items, is more efficient and prepares the Lock feature for gamepad support.
- UIBack button to go back to scene selector from scenes removed since it was confusing, and you can now go back from menu to the scene selector.
UI: Shortcuts for keyboard are now shown in the top bar with the settings categories in settings.
UI: Going back to the scene selector now shows a popup asking if you want to close the scene, and if the answer is yes, it asks if you want to save the scene. Previous behaviour does not ask if you want to close the scene.
UI: Tooltips first iteration to show with words and in some occasions shortcuts to when mouse is over some UI elements, the amount of UI elements supporting this is still in progress, but Top Menu, Items Tools and Catalog Categories now have it.
UI: Tutorial and Menu buttons now support double line when text is too big for the button.
Input: Escape key that opens menu, now deselect the item instead of open the menu, menu stills opens with the key when no item is selected.
Input: Duplicate scale and rotate randomization shortcuts now works with WASD in addition to the already working keys arrows.
Bugs
Bug solved Roll Items: Roll an item that has a horizontal offset was causing the item to mirror in the opposite direction during the roll.
Bug solved Scale Items: Scale an item that has a horizontal offset was causing the item to move out or in from the position set.
- Bug solved UITutorial buttons text offset position after language changed.
Bug solved UI: Puzzle Selector arrows getting out of the background.
Bug solved UI: Weird UI pixels showing in the top left of the screen.
Bug solved UI: Menu Button getting over the Back Button in the scene creation screen.
Bug solved Duplicate: When the setting "Hold Actions Confirm By" was set to "Release and Click" to confirm, the action like grab was confirmed after the click, but the duplicate itself was confirming when the button was released.
Thank you for playing and sharing your feedback with me to make this even a better experience. There is still a lot to put in and is coming together.
Don't forget to share your creations, and if you have a little extra time give a review for the Demo, something that could do wonders for the project.♥️
Best,
Aender Lara
