changedIt’s been a little while since the last update, but we’ve got a lot of exciting things to share. We recently hit 4500 wishlists (thank you!), opened a Discord server , and began testing builds directly on Steam. Slowly but sure, everything is coming together.
changedBehind the scenes, we’ve made some less flashy but important improvements, like better undo/redo history , smaller save files , and smarter background systems . But today’s devlog is all about the more visually fun and game-changing additions from the past few months::
addedHorizontal OffsetEasier plank placement on the edges of your pirate ship You can now offset items horizontally, not just vertically. This means you can fine-tune placement in all directions; ideal for things like floating planks over tables or creative builds that need a little push out of their center. Steam post image
addedNew Settings OptionsMore accessibility and better performance control The settings menu is growing, with new options like UI scaling , graphics toggles , and audio settings . Whether you’re tuning for performance or customizing your experience, more tools are now at your fingertips.

Horizontal Offset

Easier plank placement on the edges of your pirate ship You can now offset items horizontally, not just vertically. Deform Side Variant

Stretch walls with more control (and less stress)

Deformable items now support one-sided editing, thanks to the horizontal offset system. Grab just one side, and we’ll handle the math in the background to make sure the item still behaves nicely with its parent object.

New Settings Options

More accessibility and better performance control The settings menu is growing, with new options like UI scaling, graphics toggles, and audio settings. Whether you’re tuning for performance or customizing your experience, more tools are now at your fingertips.

💡 Lights!

Now supporting three different types of lights

The biggest visual update

lighting controls are here!

You can now use

  • Ambient Light (Sky Light): Adjusts the overall tone of the room and includes fog controls for atmosphere.

  • Directional Light: Simulates sunlight or light from a set direction, with optional shadows!

  • Item Lights: Some items like screens or lamps now emit light (via point lights), adding warmth and realism to your builds.
