Bleaklight Falls Demo Patch 0.2

While most of my work lately has focused on the full game version, I found some time to sneak a few fun pieces of content into the demo just in time for Steam's Scream 4 Fest, which will Bleaklight Falls will be participating in the week of October 27th - 31st. Here's what you can find in this little update:

Shrines of Rekindling

As you explore the forest, you'll come across ancient shrines to the goddess Je. Rest at one of these shrines and play your piccolo to rekindle the shrine to receive the Blessing of Je. You can receive permanent stat boosts and consumable items from these shrines.

Additional Content

• Leaf piles to run and jump through in the village (there might be a secret hiding in there...)

• Smashable pots and jack-o-lanterns that drop resources.

• Pumpkins growing in the farm with a new recipe in Ovetti's Cooking station.

• A new landmark with a unique secret.

This patch also includes some small QoL changes including a difficulty selection when starting a new game, and some additional tutorials at the start of the game to help new players find their footing.
