addedA few days ago, I covered the DX Campaign and the Randomizer mode, which will make for the ultimate Bleak Sword experience. Today, I want to focus on new features that will provide you with virtually endless replayability - The Boss Rush and Arena game modes.
addedPersonally, I feel that boss fights are the most exciting encounters in the game. I've wanted to add Boss Rush since the original launch.
addedIn this new mode, you'll fight all 12 bosses in a row. To make things even tougher, you can't level up or use any items from the standard campaign. With just one health bar to survive all 12 encounter, it's the ultimate challenge.
addedThe next new addition is Arena Mode. My original idea for Bleak Sword was an endless gauntlet of increasingly difficult levels. Ultimately, I focused on a campaign-based experience but now, the Arena Mode returns to the game's roots.
changedHere, you'll recover a bit of health after each wave as there are no items to help your run. This mode emphasizes crowd control and I suggest you take out weaker targets before focusing on bigger threats to stay as healthy as you can.
