Demo Update 06/23/2025

Time for a new demo update. I want to keep the demo in-line (as much as possible) with internal changes that I think would allow a potential buyer to get an accurate assessment of the game.

Progress has been slow since Feb Next Fest due to real life issues. It’s tough working on this solo, but I’m ready to make the push toward the finish line.
addedAt player request, I've added a subtle and unobtrusive tracking overlay for fighters that are in front of the player but not the current target. It will make fighters, that are some distance away, easier to spot against the blackness of space. This can be turned off in the options menu if desired.
addedAll radar and tracking HUD options have been enabled by default in the options menu, but can be toggled off, individually, if desired.
addedSubtitles have been enabled by default in the options menu.
changedThe overall audio has been boosted when maxing out the master game volume slider in the options menu. This may require some further sound balancing going forward.
addedAdded a main menu notification to inform mouse users that they need to activate mouse steering in the menu options as it is disabled by default. This notice can be permanently toggled off.

Release Notes:

  1. Additional refinements to the mouse steering system. It's finally in a place I'm happy with. I personally don't use mouse controls in my space sims but I have become pretty proficient with this iteration.

  2. At player request, I've added a subtle and unobtrusive tracking overlay for fighters that are in front of the player but not the current target. It will make fighters, that are some distance away, easier to spot against the blackness of space. This can be turned off in the options menu if desired.

  3. All radar and tracking HUD options have been enabled by default in the options menu, but can be toggled off, individually, if desired.

  4. Subtitles have been enabled by default in the options menu.

  5. The overall audio has been boosted when maxing out the master game volume slider in the options menu. This may require some further sound balancing going forward.

  7. Mouse cursor now hidden during first run story introduction sequence.

I don't anticipate any issues with previous save files, but if needed, delete the save file in the following location and the game will build a new one.
