Patch Notes new resources, crafting systems, buildings, and quests.

Added:

• Spring Seasonal Content (available to get until May 28th, items obtained will persist after the event ends)

  • Cherry blossom trees - can be gathered to obtain cherry blossom petals

• Petals can be used for crafting a variety of cosmetics:

  • Flower tiaras

• Cherry blossom furniture decorations

• Blossom pavement

• New Resources and content to discover

  • Wild beehives

    • Using a new item called the smoker, allows you to calm the beehive and gather honey.

• Peach Trees

  • Can be gathered for tier 3 wood trunks, with a chance to obtain peaches.

• New Buildings for settlements

  • Cask (Used to craft Jams)

  • Apiary (Long passive craft to gain a lot of honey.)

  • Peach Orchard (Long passive craft to gain peaches)

• Quests can now cause resource extraction recipes, enemies or certain crafts to grant quest specific items.

• A new title which is unlockable through the upcoming twitch drops campaign

• Added a quest to unlock Araknir Tasks

• Added a quest to unlock the Bug Mask

• Added a quest to unlock Goat (IV). The upgraded goat has all the benefits of the Goat (III) but also gives Cooldown Reduction and Hunting Weapon Power

• Added a quest to unlock a new type of task from Rumbagh. The new task allows you to give Rumbagh hex coins in exchange for some random tier 4 materials or more rarely, Traveler’s Fruit or a new mask pattern.

• Added a simple empire related quest to unlock the Salute Emote

• Added a simple empire related quest to unlock the Arch Yellow Eyes Mask Pattern

• Added a way to craft potions using honey.

• Added a tier 2 craft for leatherworkers to unlock another equipment preset. Can be bought and sold to other players

• New Food Items:

Requires cooking level 40 to craft. When you craft the recipe, there is a chance to improve the recipe, increasing the chances you will get a high quality version of the food, and increasing the level requirement/exp gain.

• Pie

  • Slows gathering and crafting speed, but provides a small EXP bonus.

  • Chance to obtain the other pie recipes

• Mincemeat Pie

  • Decreases mining speed.

  • Increases mining crit rate and crit power.

• Pizza Pie

  • Decreases scholar speed.

  • Increases scholar crit rate and crit power.

• Peach Cobbler

  • Decreases foraging speed

  • Increases foraging crit rate and power

Changed

• Improvements to the Quest UI Window

  • Added new tabs for searching and filtering quests more easily

  • Players can now search for quest rewards to find a certain quest

• Audio Tweaks

  • Changed the audio listener for some things to be based on the character location rather than the camera

  • Added much more granular audio sliders in the sound settings

  • Various actions use new sounds which more closely match the action

• Added the ability to open anything in the compendium even if it is not discovered yet (clicking on a link in chat of alt-click in marketplace for example)

• Bask quest no longer requires you to actually interact with the Tree of Wisdom and instead its completion is triggered by getting near the Tree of Wisdom

• Buttons (pig pet) will now spawn dirt particles during its idle animations

• The Argent Hunter’s Ring now gives +2 Hunting Weapon Power

• The Action Progress UI now shows an estimated total time to complete the progress for Crafting, Gather and Constructing. This doesn’t account for other players and is just an estimate based on the current situation.

• Potions at the scholar station now no longer require catalyst, buckets, or sugar, but use an item called Chemical Base that is made from these materials. The amount of chemical base that is made depends on the tier of catalyst used. Higher tier potions require more chemical base.

• Claim Supplies can now be turned into / sold to a claim from your deployable inventory

• Rare progression resources (such as straw and gypsite) now stack to 500.

Fixed

• Fixed Several Typos in the Scholar quest

• You can now RP walk while carrying cargo

• Fixed the case where you would send a empire watchtower transfer request to an offline emperor and have it fail with no feedback

• Fixed a rounding error on teleportation energy which could cause it to appear as if you had slightly more teleportation energy than you actually had

• Fixed an issue where trying to join a Chat channel you are the owner/officer of would demote you to a normal member

• Fixed a bug where sometimes Shaped pillars wouldn’t appear correctly after relogging (but not restarting)

• Fixed an issue with other players in the game world appearing as if they are wearing your current equipment preset

• Fixed and issue with not being able to update equipment in the first tab of the equipment presets correctly

• Fixed some Issues with Map icons

• Watchtowers can now correctly be transferred when starting the process from the map instead of the Nodes tab in the Empire UI

Known Issues

• The estimated time for crafting does not update when the player’s crafting speed is changed until the window is re-opened, or crafting progress is made.

• Alt + Clicking on an item that does not have a compendium entry will still open the compendium to an empty page.

• When a Cherry Blossom Tree is chopped down, it simply vanishes, without falling over or making any sound. The complete patch notes are available on the BitCraft website.
