BioMenace Remastered changes
We just released a small update for the BioMenace Remastered demo:
"Classic" presentation now runs at the original framerate (35 FPS) so you get authentic choppy scrolling and sprite movement as in the original. You can still play with classic graphics and smooth scrolling/framerate, if you prefer - or even modern graphics and choppy. This is controlled by the "Smooth Motion" setting in the options.
Added a "Restart Level" option in the menu and a corresponding keybinding (F11 by default)
Updated hostage and block pushing sprites
Fixed a bug causing Snake to continue walking without any input after a dialog ends when using the analog stick to move
Fixed incorrect starting health in secret level
Fixed parallax background pixel shimmering artifacts and dark outlines on certain foreground tiles when "Smooth parallax" enabled
Fixed "Cycle HUD style" key binding not checking if the key is already in use elsewhere
