changedThis patch contains over 70 improvements, mainly to game balance, so read on for the main highlights:
changedBalancing ChangesBig changes to what a lot of the bosses do and when they might appear - Adjusted some of the round goal scores to reduce the big steps - Timed levels now give half score instead of no score if you run out of time - Adjusted the payouts of a lot of cards, mostly upwards
addedOther ImprovementsSeveral UI changes to make it clearer when you have earned or will earn trophies. Newly-earned trophies made clearer - Levels that give you cards at the start now show a dialog before the game starts, to let you easily see what they all are - Added some more words to the dictionary - Made it harder to accidentally close the shop - Improved the wording of several cards for clarity or grammar - Made minor improvements to the art for a few of the cards

Firstly just to say a HUGE thank you to everyone that has supported Beyond Words since launch last week! Reading your feedback has been really insightful and today we're pleased to be releasing our first post-release patch!

This patch contains over 70 improvements, mainly to game balance, so read on for the main highlights:

Balancing Changes

  • Big changes to what a lot of the bosses do and when they might appear - Adjusted some of the round goal scores to reduce the big steps - Timed levels now give half score instead of no score if you run out of time - Adjusted the payouts of a lot of cards, mostly upwards
