What changed
- Performance
New Enemy
Marchosias - (Very fast, lots of health and isn’t stunned for very long. Won’t be 1-hit stunned by normal attacks, only Strongs)
New legendary item
Zweihander - (Whenever you kill an enemy with a melee attack, you can cancel that attack immediately. Since strong attacks have the most recovery, this works with them well) Added neat soul particles to better visualize how much you’re earning I spent a LOT of time optimizing, so there are some nice performance boosts all around Two new options that both use that extra CPU power: Turbo Mode - Game runs at 1.2x speed. Works online, based off the host’s setting. Queue Frames - Queuing frames helps performance a lot, but adds 1 frame of input lag in high spec, and 3 in low spec. Now you can turn it off to minimize input lag but maybe cause stuttering. Changed that troublesome Layer 2 Hallway so Knight can jump across like everyone else Buffed Up-Strong Attack (range slightly increased) Buffed Neutral-Strong Attack (startup 30->27, range increased, sweetspot size increased) Buffed Down-Strong Attack (range increased, sweetspot damage 145->160, air/early hitbox starts faster and fits animation better) Berfed Neutral Attack (earliest cancel 23->24 , active frames 3->4) Nerfed Down Attack (earliest cancel 12->13) Buffed Hyper Phantasm (Sp Cost 40->30) Nerfed Siphoning Rush (Sp Cost 30->35) Guarding hurtbox expanded downward (Homing orbs won’t slip under you anymore if guarding) Fixed a bug where killing the enemy who spawned the boss wouldn’t give you souls (I only noticed because of the new soul particles, somehow that’s been broken for months) Smaller filesize (671MB->393MB) I’ve been wanting to add more content, so now that I’m done optimizing for a while, I’m going to see about dropping another update on Friday or next Tuesday if I have enough done and tested to be worth it.
Let me know what you want the most
new items, hallways, a new layer/tileset, enemies, special attacks, or something else.
