changedSo, whats this new gamemode buisness about? You can save your custom gamemodes to share with others and play later. You can select multiple curses and powers , or none, if you want! If you scroll down the options you will also find map options. If no maps are selected it will pick a random one, and if you select mutiple maps it will pick randomly from those. Hopefully, these tools let you make some interesting challanges for one another to try.
addedThere is also some quality of life featuresSomeone requested I add a button to hide the "misses" in later waves, so now if you look in Options and go to the graphics section, you will find that very option!
changedThe balance changesI increased the scale speed on endless mode so now its 2x faster because I found endless mode to be quite easy compared to the other modes. If everyone finds it too difficult let me know. The Deathwatch beetle now shoots slightly slower and does less damage. If you upgraded them to level 2 it would make the first 100 or so waves pretty trivial.

Greetings one and all,

Today, I have a pretty big update for the Playtest version for those who have access to it. There are also some balance changes which will affect the Demo Version as well.

So, whats this new gamemode buisness about?

Good question! There is a new gamemode option you unlock after beating all the curses, which takes you to this screen: Steam post image

You can save your custom gamemodes to share with others and play later. You can select multiple curses and powers, or none, if you want! If you scroll down the options you will also find map options. If no maps are selected it will pick a random one, and if you select mutiple maps it will pick randomly from those. Someone requested I add a button to hide the "misses" in later waves, so now if you look in Options and go to the graphics section, you will find that very option!

The balance changes

I increased the scale speed on endless mode so now its 2x faster because I found endless mode to be quite easy compared to the other modes. If everyone finds it too difficult let me know. The Deathwatch beetle now shoots slightly slower and does less damage. If you upgraded them to level 2 it would make the first 100 or so waves pretty trivial.

The max evasion chance the glitch wasps get at higher waves is now 75% instead of 99%

Bugfixes:

  • Penrose triangle should scale properly with big numbers (for real this time)

  • The zombie-ant fungus now increases towers range again

  • The capacitor should now give damage to 0 attack cooldown insects

Have a nice day!
