Cranky is now twice as expressive! Costumes can now have a second set of faces - those faces are [c]closed[/c], [c]halfclosed[/c], [c]xx[/c], [c]sad[/c], [c]unimpressed[/c], [c]dots[/c], [c]wink[/c], and [c]spiral[/c]! Go nuts!
- Costumes that do not include these expressions will show the default set of faces.

Decos now have a [c]scaleinfluence[/c] option, so now deco parenting can affect scale! The rough formula is [c]decoscale * (parentscale ^ scaleinfluence)[/c], for the math nerds out there.
- Along with [c]scaleinfluence[/c], we also have an [c]onlyScaleDistance[/c] option to pair with it, which only makes [c]scaleinfluence[/c] apply to position and neglect affecting scale.

Fixes

DAMOCLISM's health bar will no longer be restored on pause
Shader Uniforms will no longer set their value to their start value on level load

This is a new section that'll be here going forwards. There's a lot of artists who've contributed to Beatblock, and music is the lifeblood of any good rhythm game. We hope you check out their projects and releases showcased here, they do wonderful work!

arcerion, one of the artists for contest selection NEURON SPLITTER, composed the score for the abstract short film 0xART. An audiovisual contribution representing One Expression (1XP), a space where artists of every kind can come together to create, learn, and evolve.
dsktpgrl, the artist of selfportrait, oversaw the first release of her indie music label "dandelion sounds" with the collaborative album Fresh Start. Join them in exploring the world of a girl on the precipice of independence.
[-^v-] (aka Heartwave,) one of the artists for contest selection:)))), had her 5th album release earlier this year in the form of Angel - chock-full of experimental electronica & a struggle to reach perfection.
Onefin, one of the artists for Era Chimæra, released the Toy Ruby EP! A set of vignettes about taking something small and letting it live.
Rolobi, the artist of UNDO UNDO, helped compose the OST for action RPG FriendOS! You can find the demo's OST on Bandcamp.
SuperSMZ, the artist of BEATROCK (get it?), composed the OST for frantic top-down shooter Blade Rush! You can check out the full playlist on Youtube.
WangleLine, the artist of Cache and Island of Orchids, released Goodbye to Your Vicious Cycles for osu!catch World Cup 2025!"in the silver garden, i rest my old soul; from now on, forever fetterless"

FINAL NOTES

Next month is our major update for the spring, and our last content-focused push before we turn to tackling new features and smoothing out the game experience as a whole! You may see our pace on new songs slow down as a result, but we'll be putting out a roadmap for the summer & fall in the near future so you can stay tuned in to our plans.
