Update 1.7.0 - Rising Tension

Main game:

• NEW LEVELS: "Heated Battle! ~ Disco Bakery" by CV35W, and "Recollection (ft. Risa Kodaka)" by qfeileadh

• Chef hat costume now requires an A rank or higher on "Heated Battle! ~ Disco Bakery"

• We've added the performance fixes from the beta-public branch into the default branch. The changes from this branch should greatly improve the performance of decoration-heavy levels.

Other:

• Deco ID syntax now works with text decorations as well

• Added [c]notosans[/c] font

• Made dithering for decos more consistent. If the old behavior is preferred, the boolean vfx.oldDitherLogic can be set to true. Existing levels that use dithering already have this boolean applied as part of a format upgrade (19 -> 20)

• Added "Ignore radius" and "Bob multiplier" options to hats in custom costumes. These options and their defaults should work better on levels like Spin Cycle that change the size of the player.

• Fixed some bugs with RTF escape characters

THE OTHER STUFF

New options menu, arriving soon!

This feature will be included in a minor patch following this update, including a slew of other bugfixes (including the longstanding Intel Mac incompatibility issue. Sorry it took so long to get to this!)

With that said, take a look at the revamped options menu!

We've changed it from a free-floating chunk of text to a more user-friendly format, including more easily adjustable settings and explanation text for the advanced features that might be confusing. Whether you're tweaking hit leniency to be more or want to bump up the volume, we hope this new format serves you all well! And as always: if you find bugs, please report them on our Github tracker so the team can keep an eye on it!
