Speaking of UNDO...

NEW SONGS

Rolobi's "UNDO UNDO" has been added to the Inverses atom.

THE OTHER STUFF

Solidifying post-Early Access plans & questions

Our current roadmap going forward sees us (ideally) getting Beatblock to its most complete state late this year! With that in mind, here's some common questions and requests we've seen floating around:

  • Localizations? Currently in progress! We plan to get them in once we hit version 2.0, to ensure we can have our localizers deliver their work as smoothly as possible. Traditional & Simplified Chinese, Japanese, and Korean are on the docket, and we're curious to hear what else people want- let us know in the comments!

  • Porting to other consoles? No promises right now- it's a lot of work, and we'd like to focus on making sure Beatblock can shine at its best on PC before we consider releasing it elsewhere! With that said, never say never- we hope to offer more ways to beat blocks in the future.

  • More songs? Free or paid? As long as we're still kicking, you can expect more content from us even beyond 2.0! Paid song packs are something we've been contemplating as well, especially for music that might be more difficult to license. We'll keep y'all updated ( ' ' )=)

  • Additionally, expect us to keep rolling out more quality of life changes over the course of this year. Rest assured, we've been keeping a close eye on feedback and there's lots that we're raring to get remedied to make Beatblock feel better to play.

As we've continued to hone in on how we eventually want this game to look in its final form, a few bigger features have also floated to the top of the think tank that'll help round out the experience as a complete game. We'll be focusing development on these features (and ironing out all those pesky bugs) throughout the summer & fall, so stay tuned!

Check out Red: Flame & Fable!

Red Flame Fable One of our developers, DPS2004, has been working on another game alongside Beatblock!

Red: Flame & Fable is a 2D action-adventure game, set in a a dark storytale world. Click the link above to check out the trailer, and be sure to play the game when it releases for free in May!

To celebrate, we've added in a new costume for Cranky based on Red. We hope you enjoy playing as her in Beatblock, as well as in Red: Flame & Fable!

FINAL NOTES

While none of us on the team expected to get as far as we have with this project, we're very grateful we can continue sharing good tunes and creating art for players to enjoy. Thank you so much for playing our silly rhythm game!
