Design/Balance

  • Made studying not consume ingredients

  • Spiky Caretaker effect will now damage the monster and apply spiky on trick win

  • The Conedor Spiky effect will activate regardless of it winning or losing the trick

  • The Bubblizard shield effect will activate regardless of it winning or losing the trick

  • Kalan's passive effect will now have a 50% chance of giving stamina for the card that was discarded to avoid late game milling back to full health

  • Final Boss now has an attack value of 10, and the pool of monsters that can be brought into battle has been adjusted. Specifically to add a bit more of a challenge on phase 2

  • The Sword in Stone counter decoration is now +25 appeal

  • Poison added to cards from the Sour Spirit damages and has a chance to apply poison now

Bugs

  • Fixed PS5 achievements not unlocking (Herb appeal and One of everything)

  • Fixed restaurant menu visual jitter when on a specific configuration of recipe and ingredients

  • Fixed bitter and umami spirit not registering correctly on Kalan's quest if players have met the salty spirit first

  • Today's Special will now give +25 appeal correctly

  • Fixed loot sometimes not being given to players properly on duo fights

  • Fixed potential crashes when leaving combat

  • Fixed a problem where the player could lose gamepad focus on seed and fridge menu

  • Fixed maps incorrectly starting with music from the last biome the player visited

  • Fixed town map location not being shown for some positions

  • Caretakers should no longer talk about things that have already happened in the Tea House

  • Fixed the Tenderizer technique station only playing the level 1 minigame

  • Fixed Gathering minigames on Venture looking blurry

  • Fixed panko jittering during fountain sealing ceremony

  • Fixed beam state not showing correctly after c2 ceremony

  • Fixed the Furrog intro sometimes not playing correctly

  • Fixed Colsi standing up when sleeping

  • Fixed sour spirit not showing up on town

  • Fixed Flambe location errors

  • Fixed some collisions affecting the camera

  • Fixed character framing on some conversations

  • Fixed Terroreyzor animation not showing correctly

  • Fixing some puppet popping

  • Fixed Fulgrowler zap removing card effects and not showing visual feedback correctly

  • Fixed enemies not staying in aggro pose when starting combat

  • Fixed some shadow pops on high setting

  • Fixed some data staying in-between save

  • Fixed begone bar not working on some effects

Art

  • Fixed mesh popping out of some bridges

  • Fixed some town collisions that were leaving players stuck

  • Fixed some puppets not being on sticks

  • Fixed some idle animation during cutscenes

Misc

  • On the player's first time fighting the final boss as Kalan, the player will get a prompt allowing them to return home before phase 2 to finish up anything they are still working on

  • Added motion blur as a separate setting (pc only)

  • Added toggle for controller vibration

  • Removed need to be fullscreen for vsync (pc only)

  • Added unstuck button to help players stuck on geometry

  • Added some missing sfx

  • Added option to skip prologue cutscene

  • Added callout for selling box

  • Fixed some typos
