changedWhen I tried it out, I was honestly intrigued by how the encounters work. Your own deck contains cards that represent the situation you're dealing with and the skills you bring to bear, and each card has an option to be played to the left or right, with different energy costs and different impacts based on where you play the card. For instance, for an ability card, you could play it to the left to expend some energy and deal damage, or you can play it to the right and gain energy while upgrading the card, so that when the card gets shuffled back into your deck it will be more powerful. Each encounter becomes a puzzle on how best to manage the deck you have, choosing which cards to expend energy for, which cards to upgrade, and where you can afford to accept the negative consequences for a card.
