changedNew FeaturesFriendly PvP is here! Challenge your friends and guildmates and fight for the most important resource: bragging rights! - Please note that in an effort to get this shipped out earlier, we’ve elected to ship it as bare-bones as possible. Balancing, modes, and other general polish will come as we continue building towards random matchmaking-based PvP. - In the meantime, enjoy a standard, unrestricted friendly PvP battle with seven units per side, while the player going second receives an eighth unit to help offset the first-turn advantage. We will be experimenting with options to negate the first turn advantage, but we’re starting with a simple tactic in an effort to ship faster. - In both friendly PvP and the upcoming random matchmaking PvP, units that die do not go to the hospital, nor do armies go into cooldown after battle, so bring your best forces and don’t be afraid to take risks as you fight for victory. - Friendly PvP battles will not feature rewards, but you can use them to start preparing tactics for random matchmaking PvP where rewards will be on the table. Initiate battle invitations through your friends and guild menus, or look out for invites from your allies in the PvP menu or from in-game notifications. If you are in a PvE battle and join a PvP battle, your battle progress will not be lost, and you will be dropped right back where you were after the PvP battle has concluded, so don’t leave your allies hanging; that spiderwasp army you’ve been decimating will still be there when you get back.
