Battle Hanafuda changes
Battle Hanafuda plays great on Steam Deck.
Key Features:
Optimized for the Steam Deck's native 1280×800 display
32×32 pixel-based font design for excellent readability on the handheld screen
Full gamepad and touchscreen support — no mouse or keyboard required
On-screen prompts match the Steam Deck's ABXY button layout (e.g. "Press [A] Button")
Native Linux support — no Proton required
Powered by a lightweight custom game engine built on SDL2 (VGS-X)
Lower battery/storage consumption than typical games built with engines such as Unreal Engine or Unity
Rendering is limited to just two polygons and a single texture at any given time, minimizing GPU workload and power consumption.
MC68k-based code and VGM (YM2612) audio deliver an exceptionally small installation size of just around 10 MB
