Battle for Vera changes
I'm Matic, and I'm excited to share my latest project with you.
For a long time, I've been an active member of map-making and modding communities for various Real-Time Strategy games, but recently, I decided to dive into game development. With a bit of programming background and a deep love for RTS games, creating my own RTS felt like the natural next step.
After about a year of work, I'm proud to introduce Battle For Vera - a simple, classic RTS with base building, resource collection, and unit management on both micro and macro levels. The game is single-player only and includes three campaigns, each with ten missions. However, with some branching choices along the way, you won't have to play all ten missions to complete a campaign. My main focus was mission design, handcrafting scenarios and scripting enemy behaviors so that every mission feels unique and rewarding. Everything is handcrafted, as I believe it's a must to create engaging content. With a couple of quality-of-life additions, game should be accessible to both newcomers and veterans alike.
