Basement To The Sky changes
July has already come to an end, and August is here. I’m sharing this devlog to give you an update on how development has been progressing.
Thank you all so much for leaving so much feedback. I’m reading every single piece of feedback and bug report, and they’ve been immensely helpful to me.
Here is what I'm working on:
To The Space!: I’m currently implementing features that allow players to break free from gravity and head into space. By using the next-tier Engine Rocket, gravity will gradually decrease as you reach higher altitudes until you finally enter space. Steam post image
Engine Rocket : The final tier rocket is the Engine Rocket. I’m currently experimenting with modular rocket building, including a multi-stage separation system. You’ll be able to assemble giant rockets by connecting modules like hulls, fuel tanks, oxidizer tanks, engines, and decouplers to head out into space.Steam post image
Moon Landing Protocol: The ultimate destination of this game is the Moon. I’m working on features that will allow players to reach, land on, and conquer the lunar surface.Steam post image
Even as the game expands into space, it won't become overly complex or tedious. My main goal is to keep the game as simple and accessible as possible so that anyone can jump in and enjoy it.
I’m designing the game to deliver the core joy of building rockets, launching them, and aiming higher each time. However, to give the game a satisfying narrative conclusion, I set the final goal to reaching the Moon, and that’s what I’m actively working on right now.
Thank you so much to everyone who is patiently waiting for the game. I’ll keep working hard to make it great!
