What changed

  • Gameplay
  • UI and audio
  • Store
added๐Ÿ—๏ธ MOVE YOUR BAR COUNTERSBar counters can now be moved. That means you can finally shape the bar more freely instead of being stuck with the old layout. We also redesigned the bar space with a new kitchen, office area, updated object placements, new counter types, and cleaner placement behavior. Your bar should feel more like your bar now. Still probably filthy. But yours.
fixed๐ŸŽต JUKEBOX & BAR MUSICThe bar finally has music. We added a jukebox with selectable tracks, playlist UI, visual effects, and in-bar playback. A bar with no music was criminal. We have corrected this.
added๐Ÿ˜Ž EMOTE WHEELAdded an emote wheel. For when your crew needs to understand, that they are the problem.
added๐Ÿ“บ TWITCH STREAMER MODEStreamer Mode is here. Your viewers can join the bar as customers, place orders, chat through their in-game characters, and vote on what chaos happens next. You can set it up from the main menu, use it in co-op as the host, and run Twitch polls during the shift. Run a bar with your chat as customers. This is probably a bad idea. Which is why we added it.
changed๐ŸŽฎ CONTROLS, UI & STEAM DECKWe cleaned up a lot of controller and UI support. Steam Deck / PlayStation / Xbox input icons, gamepad navigation, keybindings, all got attention.
added๐Ÿ’ฌ TALK TO USThis is a big one. Co-op changes the whole shape of Barfender, and Streamer Mode opens up a completely new kind of chaos. We want to hear how it feels: what breaks, what's confusing, what creates great moments, and what needs to be even more ridiculous. Hit us up in Steam Discussions or Discord. See you behind the bar. Try not to throw the mop bucket at your friends. โ€” Proto Division

๐Ÿ‘ฅ BRING YOUR CREW

You asked for it. A lot. So here it is. Co-op is now live in the Barfender demo. You can create or join Steam lobbies, invite friends, ready up, and run the bar together with up to 4 players. Someone can serve drinks. Someone can clean. Someone can carry furniture around for no reason. Everyone can panic when the customers start throwing things. Co-op is a big shift for Barfender, so we'll keep improving it with your feedback. If something breaks, desyncs, explodes, or becomes way funnier than intended, tell us.

๐ŸฅŠ CUSTOMERS CAN THROW THINGS NOW

If you try to escape to higher ground, customers will not simply stare at you forever anymore. They may grab a chair and throw it at your head instead. Fair? No. Funny? Yes.
