changedBUG CATCHERSPLEASE HELP ME BREAK THE GAME AND FIND BUGS!! - This is a pretty large map for one person to be managing so naturally I will not be able to catch every bug! Which is exactly why I need your help! Please go crazy and break the game. Put it through the ringer. We need to make it cry! Lol only so we can kill off the bugs now and make for a better experience for early access! - Also anyone wanting to Become a part of development/art/WHATEVER.. just reach out!! I’m doing all dev in unreal engine and posting progress every day on YouTube!! - Wisebeargames@gmail.com - Below are some bugs I wanted to be upfront about that I currently am aware of! I am sure there are millions but these are ones I felt could potentially make the game less enjoyable so found it best to let you know before you even load up.
addedKnown bugsfoot steps playing twice when holding hammer and certain rifles - Certain foliage collision is not set correctly so you won’t be able to pick up its resource - AI foot steps are kinda loud right now lol but find I find them super helpful - The money system is not fully in place, but you can still grow all the plants and harvest their resources - Proximity of generator to crafting bench needs tweaking - Consumable resources may not be spawning as thick as trees and rocks - Lots of hats/helmets spawning in the chests - this will change as I update the spawning probability as well as add in more build parts and items to the data table that it pulls from
addedDEDICATED SERVERSI 1000% am going to make a dedicated sever by the end of the year I just want to make sure I have 90% of the systems built out and added in before switching over to a source build of unreal engine! I could switch over right now it’s just a bit of a process and I would prefer to have as much completed as possible before shifting to a full alpha build with public servers.
changedFIRST MAJOR UPDATEthe first major update will primarily consist of more build parts and giving players more options in base customization. The reason I did not include many options initially because I feel many other survival games, especially low poly indie, rely heavily on a bunch of building parts that serve no immediate purpose to the players. So in my case I’d rather focus on functionality over beautification atleast in this initial drop. However, moving forward each build part aside from storage and needed parts for progression will also have multiple in game functions!
